Our Services


CASAC, CPP, and CPS Training in the State of New York:

TARP, Inc. offers classroom instruction in four locations: midtown Manhattan (NYC), the Bronx (NYC), Glen Cove (Long Island), and Buffalo (NY) to become a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC), Certified Prevention Professional (CPP), or Certified Prevention Specialist (CPS) in the State of New York.

Our next 350-hour in-person CASAC training will begin on Saturday, May 18, 2024 for a maximum of 12 students and end on Saturday, November 16, 2024. The class will be held at our conveniently located Manhattan location at 261 West 35th Street, Suite 305, NYC, NY 10001.

If you want to participate in the new class cycle, please submit your online application and complete registration as soon as possible. Also see and download our 2-page School Announcement flyer.

Everyone who completes the registration process before the end of business on Thursday, May 1, 2024 will receive a grant of $250 toward their tuition. Please contact us with any questions or concerns.

TARP also provides online distance learning for initial credentialing and credential renewal services for Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselors (CASAC) in the State of New York.

Consulting Services:

Completion of new program application documentation, quality assurance, quality improvement, and other program development related activities. Contact us for details, regarding any specific consultation services and pricing. If it's a task pertaining to Substance Use Disorder (SUD) prevention and treatment, we can, most likely, successfully provide it for your agency.

Specialized Training:

TARP provides specialized training for agency personnel. Training can be provided at one of our four locations or at your program's location. Training topics include, but are not limited to: Cultural Competence, Trauma Informed Care, and Ethics. Contact us for information about other training topics.
