TARP - Training Addiction and Recovery Professionals
CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION: CASAC, CPP, and CPS training is provided through our Classroom Instruction Program in Midtown Manhattan (New York City) and Glen Cove, Long Island.
ONLINE: We also offer distance learning courses for CASAC credential renewal.
NOTE: As of May 14, 2015, distance learning courses to become a CPP are only for individuals already in the process of completing their CPP course with TARP via distance learning. The only exception requires written approval from the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services Credentialing Unit. TARP continues to offer both CPP and CPS curriculums through classroom instruction.
Contact us at anytime if you have questions about the courses you are eligible to take. Or, you can call the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (NYS-OASAS) at 1 (800) 482-9564.
TARP is a New York State OASAS Approved Provider and a NAADAC Approved Education Provider. (OASAS refers to the Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services. NAADAC refers to the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors.)
